TTP01-10 Thirteen Years of Heavy Quark Expansion: Examples for its Progress and its Problems

The heavy mass expansion has become a standard tool that has significantly evolved since its formulation about thirteen years ago. Some of the major results of the heavy mass expansion, namely the determination of $V_{cb}$ (both exclusive and inclusive) and lifetime calculations, are reviewed and some open problems are pointed out.
