 I am Professor of Physics at the Department of Physics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.    Before that, I was  an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.  My research area is theoretical physics of elementary particles. I received Master of Science from Novosibirsk State University, Russia, in 1991 and Ph.D from Mainz University, Germany, in 1996. I was research associate at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of Elementary Particles, Karlsruhe University, Germany, from 1996 to 1999 and at the Particle Theory Group of Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) from 1999 to 2002. From 2002 to 2008 I was assistant professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
